
It was a little more complicated than that, but not only was I able to wander, when I did, there were things of interest for me to see.

Which means I imaged there were different paths, open doors, multiple ways to do things. I pretended I hadn't played any MOH before. I beat a handful of levels playing through by simply following the most obvious paths, and I thought, "Eh, this is just OK." I played the game again today and started wandering.

You can play it almost exactly like the old game if you want to, which is to say, straight through the main sections. When I took the game home and spent some uninterrupted time with it, I realized there was a whole lot going on. It's wild to play the Medal of Honor: European Assault.
